@cupellosoccercoaching Attacker Movement by Dave Clarke ⚽️📈 Getting your attackers to move to receive  makes it easier to attack the goal and get a shot away. In this drill Player movement helps the strikers to combine in front of goal and beat the goalkeeper with a good pass.The attacking midfielders start with the ball and move from the first cone to the second cone. As they do this the two strikers move left or right. The first of the strikers initiates the move – if he/she goes left the other striker goes right and vice versa. The passing midfielder passes to the striker nearest the goal and the two strikers combine against the keeper. @cupellosoccercoaching Shooting From Runs Outside Penalty Area 🚀🎯 Setting up play on the outside of the penalty box can create openings for players to have a shot which often catches goalkeepers unaware. Player A passes to C and player B runs to just outside the D of the penalty area to receive a pass on the run from C. Once B has taken a shot they return via the wing where they slalom through the training poles back to the start. C remains in place as the passer  and A becomes B. In this drill there are 2 magic men who play for the team in possession, and two teams of 3. The game is focused inside the small square. This is a dribbling game where players dribble out of the small square into the space between the squares, then go back through the small square and out on another side of the small square to score in one of the goals.
