Start with 2 defenders and 1 attacker at both ends of the pitch and 1 attacker in the middle on the side. One attacker starts with the ball and passes to the attacker in the middle and they combine to try and dribble through the cone goals. @cupellosoccercoaching Keep Wingers Wide by Dave Clarke ⚽️📈 Set up just outside the penalty area with the two defenders in the centre and an attacker on both wings. The defender starts the drill with a pass out to the winger and then must keep track of the attacker as he/she gets the ball and dribbles down the wing. The defender must stay goalside of the attacker at all times and keep him/her out wide with body positions. The second defender then does the same with the winger on the other side. @cupellosoccercoaching Recovering Defenders by Dave Clarke ⚽️📈 Create a five yard box at the end opposite the goal. Three defenders start at the back and three attackers start 5 yards nearer goal. One defender starts in front of the goal facing the attack. The middle of the three attackers starts by passing to one of the attackers either side. When the attacker receives the ball the coach calls out the number of defenders that can recover from behind the attackers.
