@cupellosoccercoaching Circle Passing Routes by Dave Clarke ⚽️📈 We start this session with players locked in to their positions with unopposed passing between the three players with every pass going into the player in the centre or out from the player in the centre. We can advance this so the centre player can come out from the centre circle into the larger circle, receive the ball then dribble to the teammate on the other side. In the final sequence one player goes to press the other teams to try and win the ball. @cupellosoccercoaching 6v3 Safety Possession - by Pep Guardiola 🚀⚽️ Following on from our last drill, Pep Guardiola's Positional Play consists of generating superiorities out of the defensive line against those who are pressing you like the 6v3 game. In the 6v3 the 6 players are holding onto the ball while the three players are pressing trying to win the ball. The idea is to work the ball from one safety zone to the other.  The passing team cannot be tackled in the safety areas but when the ball is played out of the safety areas the receiver cannot pass it back so they turn or dribble the ball into areas where they can pass the ball. The aim is to get the ball to the other safety zone to score a point. The defending team wins a point by winning the ball and dribbling it into one of the safety zones.
