@cupellosoccercoaching Chip the Keeper by Dave Clarke ⚽️📈 The game starts with a 3v3 between the two 10 yard boxes in front of the goals. Two players stand in each of the two boxes and they must try and save the chip shots over their heads without going out of the boxes. Goals are scored by chipping the players in the boxes into the net. If a goal is scored without a chip it doesn't count. Starts and restarts are with the goalkeepers. The game is directional. @cupellosoccercoaching Control and Pass by Erik Ten Hag ⚽️📈 This simple passing drill is used at Manchester United by Erik ten Hag who perfected it when he was at Ajax. Set up with two target players in the centre that the players from each end combine with as they move up the area. Players go in pairs with player 1 having a ball and passing into the nearest target player who returns the pass. The ball is then passed to the other target player who lays it off to player 2. Player 2 passes across to the players at the other end and the game goes back the other way. Continue in this wave action. In this drill there are 2 magic men who play for the team in possession, and two teams of 3. The game is focused inside the small square. This is a dribbling game where players dribble out of the small square into the space between the squares, then go back through the small square and out on another side of the small square to score in one of the goals.
