Make Transitions Work For Your Team

Difficulty

In transitions the team must spot the opportunity as a unit and respond immediately when they win or lose the ball. Focus first on the individual who has lost or gained possession and the secure pass or pressing quickly.

The focus on this game is passing and moving with the added difficulty of the pass having to go through a gate to get to the other side

Coaching Objectives

Focus in the drill is on quick passing with short passing followed by a longer pass key to making it work. This makes the players work on their technique.
