This game gives players lots of problems to solve in a 3v3 game with four goals - can I switch play, can I move into positions to make it easier to receive, can I play a through ball.
Coaching Objectives
Coaches should be looking for
- Movement to create space for individuals and team mates -
- Draw play to one side & exploit space created on the other by switching play
- Control speed of ball
- Combination play to keep possession and set up goals
- 1v1/2v1 duels to win the ball or keep possession
- Win the ball back as quickly as possible
