Look for players understanding the right body shape for pressing and reacting to the triggers that say “press”. Communication is key between players when they see the triggers to “go” and understand when to “hold”.
A key element of a pressing game is the ability to accelerate and slow down with mental skills to help quick reactions when possession is lost and pressing is needed to win the ball back within six seconds.
