By pushing attackers into the box in attacking situations the cross will have more chance of finding one of them and create more goals for your team
Coaching Objectives
Early crosses into the penalty area need the strikers to be alert and moving before the ball is kicked. Three attackers in the box cover front post, far post and central areas around the penalty spot. Wingers need to be crossing from different places early to catch out retreating defences.
