BY CHARLIE POMROY The space in midfield is usually limited and players are pressed quickly. Quick combinations and good decisions will enable us to play through compact areas.
Coaching Objectives
- Speed of the pass needs to be quick.
- Midfield players should be checking their shoulder and scanning surroundings all the time.
- Be Proactive not Reactive. Players should know what they are going to do with the ball before they have it. Repeat patterns of play to improve understanding between players.
