In this game play goes through the centre of the pitch with attackers making use of switching play and good movement to receive the ball and keep possession.
Coaching Objectives
- Goalkeepers play out from the back – look for teams being patient in the build up with numerical advantage in the defending half of the pitch
- Play at a high tempo so there is game like pressure on the players
- Players should be playing forward through the central zone and rotate, dropping between the lines with forwards dropping back into the central zone to make it easier to keep possession
- Switching play key to making use of the two goals teams are attacking
